Kyriaki Manoli
Kyriaki Manoli was born in Larnaca and is an active drama educator in Cyprus. She holds a degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Cyprus and completed her postgraduate studies in Theatre and Drama in Education at the University of Warwick, graduating with distinction.
For the past five years, she has been teaching Drama and Theatre in Education at Nadia Tomassidou’s Theatre Workshop, as well as at a private school in Larnaca. She conducts experiential workshops and drama-education programs in various kindergartens and primary schools across Cyprus. During the current school year, she implemented the approved Drama Education Program “Theatre and Cypriot Folk Tales.”
She also offers music–storytelling workshops and performances for various institutions and organizations. Kyriaki regularly participates in theatre seminars and training workshops. Some of the workshops she has attended include: “Applied Theatre in Education” with Peter Hussey; European Theatre Lab for educators, facilitators, and theatre professionals with Sofia Vgenopoulou; Drama in Education Workshops with Joe Winston (Professor Emeritus of Drama and Theatre in Education at the University of Warwick); “Being Truthful with Fiction” – “Actor-in-Role”; and “The Theatrical Play as a Means of Education.”
She is an active member of the Cyprus Centre of the International Association of Theatre for Children and Young People (ASSITEJ Cyprus).
